Drug testing: clinic, onsite & random

Ethur supports clinic-based, onsite, and random drug and alcohol testing, with panels from 4-panel to 10-panel and breath, hair, or urine collection. Pricing depends on the test type, panel, and location.

How to get started

Drug testing isn't self-serve in the order flow yet — it requires a one-time setup so we can configure your panels, clinics, and testing program. Contact us to get set up, and tell us which test types and panels you need.

Understanding the random testing fee

The $10 figure for random testing is the per-test program fee for random selection and administration — it is not the price of a complete drug test. The test itself (panel and clinic) is priced separately, the same way as a clinic-based test.

  • A $10 random test fee + a clinic test is the real total — budget for both

What the candidate or employee does

For clinic-based tests, the candidate receives instructions and visits a collection clinic. For onsite testing, collection happens at your premises. Specific scheduling details are confirmed during setup.

Fees to know about

  • A $90 after-hours fee applies when a test is administered Monday–Friday between 7pm and 7am, or on weekends
  • Clinics with expanded hours are available for post-hire scenarios: random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident

FAQs

Which panel should I choose?▼

It depends on your industry and policy — 5-panel is a common default, while safety-sensitive roles often use 10-panel. We'll help you choose during setup.

How do results come back?▼

Results appear in your dashboard like other screening results. Turnaround depends on the test type and lab — confirm expected timing during setup.
