Is candidate data safe?

Yes. Bank and payroll connections use read-only OAuth tokens via Plaid, MX, and Argyle. Ethur never stores credentials. Data is encrypted at rest with per-tenant keys and processed under SOC 2 Type II controls.

What if a candidate refuses to link payroll or bank?

Ethur falls back gracefully to traditional verification (HR phone call, document upload + AI review). You set the policy per role.
