The Review & Submit step shows a complete, itemized cost breakdown before anything is charged. Nothing runs — and nothing bills — until you confirm.
How the total is calculated
- Per-candidate price
- Your package tier plus each selected add-on, itemized line by line
- Multiplied by candidate count
- Ordering for 5 candidates? The per-candidate price applies to each
- No double charging
- Checks already included in your tier never appear again as paid add-ons

Third-party court and database access fees (for example, county court fees) are separate pass-through charges, billed at cost with no markup.
Court & pass-through fee consent
When an order includes searches that can incur court or database fees, you'll be asked to accept the court & pass-through fee terms before submitting. These fees are charged to your payment card monthly, at cost.
Ways to pay
- Payment card on file — charged when the order is placed
- Prepaid balance — subscription allowances apply automatically
- Free screenings — applied automatically when available
- If your balance doesn't cover the whole order, you'll be asked to add a card for the remainder before submitting
Only team members with billing permissions can add payment cards. If you don't see the option, ask your account admin.
