Build a custom package

Every order in Ethur starts from a package tier and lets you layer on exactly the add-ons the role needs. When you've built a combination you'll use again, you can name and save it as a package to reuse on future orders.

How building a package works

  1. 1Choose a base tier — Basic, Essential, or Complete. This sets the criminal-search depth every candidate on the order gets.
  2. 2Pick your add-ons — toggle on the extra checks the role needs: employment or education verification, credit, income, references, and more.
  3. 3Add your candidates — one or many; the same package applies to everyone on the order.
  4. 4Name it at Review & Submit — enter a package name before submitting and the combination is saved to your account.

Saving and reusing packages

  • A package is saved when you enter a new name on the Review & Submit step and place the order
  • Saved packages store the tier and the exact set of checks you selected
  • On your next order, apply a saved package to restore the whole combination in one click
  • If an add-on in a saved package is no longer available, it's removed automatically when the package is applied — you'll never be charged for a check that can't run
  • Saved packages you no longer need can be deleted

Editing or duplicating a saved package

Today, saving happens when you place an order with a new package name — there isn't a separate rename or duplicate action for saved packages yet. To change a combination, apply the saved package to a new order, adjust the add-ons, and save it under a new name. If you need a saved package removed or corrected, contact support and we'll take care of it.

Naming tips

  • Name by role, not by checks: "Warehouse associate" beats "Essential + MVR"
  • Include the location or client if criteria differ between them
  • Keep one package per role so reporting stays consistent
