Run your first background check
From your dashboard, a complete background check is four steps: choose a package, add the candidate, send the invite, and review the report.
Step by step
- 1. Choose a package
- Starter, Essential, or Complete — or build a custom order with add-ons like MVR or employment verification
- 2. Add the candidate
- Enter their name and email. Ethur sends a secure invite so the candidate enters their own sensitive details
- 3. Candidate completes the invite
- They e-sign the disclosure and authorization, then provide their information through the candidate portal
- 4. Review the report
- Track progress in real time and get notified when the report is complete
What happens behind the scenes
As soon as the candidate submits, Ethur runs identity verification and kicks off every search in the package in parallel. You watch each section land in the report as it completes — no waiting for the slowest search to see the rest.
