Team members and roles
Invite your whole team to Ethur and control exactly what each person can do — from ordering checks to viewing reports to managing billing. Permissions are enforced on the server, not just hidden in the interface.
The built-in roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — billing, team, orders, and settings |
| Manager | Recruit, order screenings, and manage adjudication — no billing, team, or integration access |
| Reviewer | View-only — reports, screenings, and disputes; no ordering, exporting, or editing |
| Accountant | Billing, invoices, and payment methods only |
| User | Basic access — their own screenings and profile |
Need something in between? Custom roles let you build a permission set from scratch.
Managing your team
- Invite teammates by email — pending invites expire after a set period and can be resent
- Change a teammate's role at any time; it takes effect immediately
- Remove access instantly when someone leaves
- Only Admins can manage billing and team members — choose them deliberately
Why roles matter
Background reports contain sensitive data. Limiting report access to the people who make decisions isn't just tidy — it's part of a defensible, compliant screening process.
